Your guiding light

The founder of Branded by the Light, Jessica Anderson, started her marketing career almost 20 years ago, learning in a corporate setting with a large marketing organization. Through her tenure, she learned content management and strategy, brand strategy, and how to work through multiple levels and departments within a corporation. She found her passion in marketing and decided to go back to school for her Marketing degree in 2015.

In 2019, Jessica decided to leave corporate America to pursue a position as the Director of Marketing and Communications at a green energy startup. Here, she was challenged and delighted to work with the founder to help identify the company's mission, vision, and overall brand identity and strategy. On a small but mighty team, Jessica was responsible for designing and updating the website, blog, social media, and all marketing collateral; in addition to finding new business and creating email marketing campaigns. Jessica learned a lot in this role and thrived in a space where she had many hats and could guide the company. Unfortunately, the founder decided to close doors in 2020 due to the world-wide pandemic.

Since 2020, Jessica has found different marketing roles with companies in varied industries. From customer experience and relationship management, to event marketing and project management. During this time Jessica's spark for marketing, ignited a flame - a flame to start her own marketing consulting business where she can use her education, experience, and varied skills in order to help small businesses reach their business goals.

Today, Jessica is excited to help guide local, small businesses who are working with limited resources to carryout a marketing strategy that will help their business thrive and grow.
